IVF overhaul proposed

IVF overhaul proposed

In a move that might have some ripples here at home The British NHS has now moved to cover IVF in women up to 42 years of age and in same sex couples.

They state that, essentially, they are only responding to the current mix.

With Obamacare slowly rolling out, it still remains to be seen if Infertility will be an essential service. But if I am a betting man, which I am not, I would think it likely that there will be several, if not all insurance cooperatives that will cover….and for everything from diagnosis through and including Surrogacy…of course with limits on how many cycles of less invasive things could be done before IVF.

What will they think of next!

St Gianna, pray for us!

St Anne, pray for us!

About St. Anne Center for Reproductive Health

I am a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who practiced in the IVF world for 15 years. After seeing the damage that these treatments were causing couples and the complete commodification of life, fueled by a deeper understanding of my Roman Catholic faith, I left the field in 2010. I am currently praying for an end to the culture of death, and hoping to one day have the funding to open the St Anne Center for Reproductive Heath, to provide options for people with challenges to conceive with support and care to follow God's will.
