This is yet another article which wonderfully points out not a complaint, but the facts about the lack of tolerance to Catholics.
This is especially sad, because many of the attacks come from within the Catholic Church. It is not just that many, if not most Catholics are “Lukewarm” Cafeteria Catholics It is the idea, likely taught by some LCWR member sister, that God is a personal God, and that The Catholic Church is whatever you want it to be. (after all, it is my God and my Church, right?)
But, turning to the Catechism, especially now on the threshold of the Year of Faith declared by Pope Benedict, tells a different story. There is no multiple choice test, or different directions that one sees in the document. It is a clear, decisive work designed to give the basis for the Catholic Faith. You really are all in or, as Martin Luther and his Cronies did, completely out.
The Church needs men and women of Faith more now than ever. God, please increase my Faith!
